Where do I add a Microsoft access database ?
Solution

For security reasons we recommend creating a folder in the "account root"
not the "web root" for your microsoft databases

i.e.  web root would be inside the folder "your domain.com" - where all your web files are located.

The "account root" is not accessible by outside world - only by your account

Create a db folder - for this example - lets call it databases
Using the control panel file manager or any FTP program to create the databases folder

for this example - when folder databases has been created - you will see 3 folders

yourdomain.com\
logs\
databases\

upload the microsoft access DB into the folder "databases\"

for those using Cold Fusion -
you need to login to your control panel

select "odbc" from the top nav bar
locate microsoft access driver and click to add

enter the DB name and db userid/ db password if any exist
for the path - using the example above - you will enter

databases

click submit - the control panel will create the DSN in approx 30 minutes -

If you have any problems please do not hesitate to open a ticket - please include the msAccess odbc name, name and location of msAccess
